My Story
I don’t remember much about my youth. I lived with some folks who taught me how to sit and shake hands. Oh yeah, and that if I sat nicely by the table I would get yummy snacks. For some reason, I ended up in the Las Vegas dog pound. I didn’t like it there at all. There were tons of dogs to meet and play with, but I was stuck in a small cell by myself! Can you imagine?! I started getting nervous, since 6 days passed and nobody wanted to take me home. I thought I was a goner! Luckily, the nice folks at Adopt A Rescue Pet saved me on my last day. Whew! My adventures weren’t over yet though. While I was at the pound I caught kennel cough and had to be isolated until I got better. I was homeless, living in a shelter for over a month. Finally, when I got better, I was adopted by a couple who could fully appreciate my cuteness. The rest, as they say, is history.

I love to play with my rope! It is so much fun to roll around with my favorite toys! (OK, I know I’m cute and Mom and Dad can’t resist me when I’m upside-down. Shhh, don’t tell them I told you)
Is there anything quite as fine as lounging in a nice warm spot in the sun? Ahh!!! This is the way the King deserves to live.
It’s hard work tearing apart my squeaky. I was so exhausted I couldn’t even move before passing out. What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Look, I’m a Border Collie, I’m a working dog. I Don’t do cuddly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all in favor of a good back scratch and a belly rub, but one hand while I’m snoozing is all you get before I get up and walk away.
I’m on the hunt! Well, actually I’m on a hike - close enough! (Check out my stylish purple and green leash and collar - am I cool or what?!)
Where am I? How did I get here? Oh, my head...I don’t remember a thing about last night.

Hope you enjoyed your
visit! Come
back soon!
